Guido (25) was there when WAIMAKERS was still just the three of them. Wouter sent a list on Monday, and by the end of the week it had to be done. Whoever had time picked up the others' work. That mentality is still here, the playing field just got bigger.Guido (25) was erbij toen WAIMAKERS nog maar met z'n drieën was. Wouter stuurde op maandag een lijst, en aan het eind van de week moest het af zijn. Wie tijd had, pakte het werk van de anderen op. Die mentaliteit is er nog steeds, alleen is het speelveld groter geworden.
Today he builds the WAIMAKERS operating system together with our developer: one press of a button and you have access to every skill, agent and MCP. New WAIMAKERS are ready to go within a day, where elsewhere it takes days. The alarm goes at 06:30. By 06:45 I'm on the bike to the gym, straight through Amsterdam with a podcast in my ears, usually Moonshots. A short open with the team: what's on today, who needs what. Then I open the commitment tracker and run through the day's priorities. And at the end of the day, nobody goes home without a check-out.Een korte opening met het team: wat er vandaag speelt, wie wat nodig heeft. Daarna open ik de commitment tracker en loop ik de prioriteiten van de dag langs. En aan het eind van de dag gaat niemand naar huis zonder check-out.

Mornings are for building. Right now that's WAIMAKERS OS, the system we're building so the whole firm can work with AI. Two screens, a notebook, and a lot of figuring out. Travel time doubles as work time: on the way I'm in conversation with my agents, clearing open messages. Then it's showtime, sometimes a hands-on workshop at KWF, sometimes on stage at PHIA, sometimes a whole floor at Pentland Brands. The work is taking a team from "we should do something with AI" to use cases they can actually build. Nerve-wracking as a 25-year-old? Sometimes. A learning experience? Always.Reistijd is ook werktijd: onderweg ben ik in gesprek met mijn agents en werk ik openstaande berichten weg. Dan is het showtime, soms een hands-on workshop bij KWF, soms op het podium bij PHIA, soms een hele verdieping bij Pentland Brands. Het werk is een team meenemen van "we moeten iets met AI" naar use cases die ze echt kunnen bouwen. Spannend als 25-jarige? Soms. Een leerervaring? Altijd.
